As the Academic Program Coordinator of the Fashion Marketing & Management Program, Kate Campbell is responsible for implementing a curriculum that prepares students for a business career in the Fashion Industry. Prior to joining The Art Institute of Tampa, Kate was a buyer in the Southeast corporate divisional offices for Dillard's, Inc. Her tenure as a buyer was preceded by sixteen years in retail management, both in specialty and department stores. In addition, Kate spent nine years as a marketing support specialist and corporate trainer in the magazine publishing division of Time, Inc. Kate earned her Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on global management in 2004, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She is a member of the Florida Retail Federation, the National Retail Federation, and serves as a DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) judge for Hillsborough County. Kate serves as a fashion and retail consultant for brands and has helped a variety of individuals, from rockstars to grannies, on their style journey.
